Benni McCarthy rued what he calls a missed opportunity following Cape Town City’s 2-2 Absa Premiership draw with Orlando Pirates at a packed Athlone Stadium on Saturday.

The government has set up a five-member interim management committee (IMC) to manage the sport’s affairs and help revive Ghana’s wounded football administration.

Insider reports reaching the Daily Statesman indicate that members of the interim body which will run the Ghana Football Association will be appointed shortly, possibly today.
