Business & Economy

The Ghanaian economy has seen a complete turnaround in 32 months since the Akufo-Addo-led government took over running the country’s affairs in January 2017.

The first tranche of funds from the ‘Bauxite for Development’ barter agreement, popularly known as Sinohydro deal, signed between the Government of Ghana and the People’s Republic of China, has been released, Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his government has succeeded in turning around the poor fundamentals of Ghana’s economy, which he inherited from the Mahama administration, ensuring that, currently, all the fundamentals are pointing in the right direction.
