The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, has expressed satisfaction that even though it inherited a debt-riddled economy in 2017, the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led has not only served Ghanaians well but racked up a great many successes.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has granted letters of commencement to Ghana’s three development authorities to begin full implementation of the New Patriotic Party government’s $1 million per constituency pledge under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) for the fiscal year 2020.

The Ghana Union of Traders’ Associations (GUTA) says it is glad that the government listened to its concerns and addressed them with an intervention which cut 30 per cent of the original import tax.
